The aim of the Blackburn Minor Hockey Association and the message that we are diligently promoting to our membership and throughout our community, is to focus on teaching and building upon the fundamentals of hockey. To help players not only develop their hockey skills but also to maintain health through exercise, while instilling the importance of teamwork and fair play - extremely important life lessons that team sports unquestionably provides. As Members of our Association and as parents and guardians to these great kids, we all share an equal responsibility to continually strive towards achieving these goals - and providing these opportunities to our current and future hockey players. As time allows, I invite each and every one of you to pause and take just a moment to think about the great benefits of hockey and the lessons our children are learning every week, as we work toward getting them to where they need to be - on and off of the ice! Here"s to what will be a great next season for the BMHA and our Blackburn Stingers! As well, hats off to all of our current and soon-to-be volunteers for the upcoming season!
